DIAGNOSUS Chipping is caused by using metal utensils, abrasive scouring pads, or stacking hard items inside the basket. Compromised coating can flake into food.
FIX Discontinue use of the damaged basket. Contact Cosori customer support directly. The basket and tray are often covered under the warranty for coating defects. Provide your purchase proof.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK If out of warranty, you must purchase an official Cosori replacement basket designed for the Lite 3.8QT model. Third-party baskets may not fit or sensor correctly.
HEADS UP Do not use the basket if the coating is flaking. Ingesting coating material is a health hazard. Use only nylon, wood, or silicone utensils on replacements.
