DIAGNOSIS Error E1 indicates a short-circuit or open-circuit in the temperature sensor (NTC thermistor). This prevents the unit from reading the internal temperature.
FIX Unplug the fryer and let it cool completely for 30 minutes. Check the heating element area for any visible debris, grease pooling, or a damaged sensor wire. Clean carefully with a dry brush. Plug it back in.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The sensor may have failed. This requires component-level repair. Contact Cosori support with your model number (CP158-AF) for warranty or repair options.
