The most common issue is the printer being out of range or a temporary network glitch.
- First, restart everything. Power cycle your router, your computer/phone, and the printer. Wait a full minute between turning them off and back on.
- Check the range. The printer needs a strong signal from your Wi-Fi router. Move it closer if possible. Wi-Fi Direct may require specific printer software to be installed.
- Re-run the wireless setup. Use the Epson Smart Panel App to guide you through connecting the printer to your network again. An internet connection to the printer is required for most features.
If that didn't work: Your computer's firewall or security software might be blocking the connection. Temporarily disable it to test. Also, ensure you're selecting the correct Wi-Fi network (2.4GHz, not 5GHz, as it supports 802.11 b/g/n).
Heads up: For voice-activated printing, you'll need an Epson Connect account and device registration. Visit epson.com/voice for compatibility details.
