DIAGNOSIS The unit is likely in its initial cooling cycle. The compressor must cool the evaporator plate to -9°C to -12°C before the first harvest cycle begins.
FIX 1) Confirm the unit is in Ice Making mode, not Scoop or Cleaning. 2) Listen for the compressor humming and the fan running. 3) Wait. The first batch can take 6-15 minutes to produce. The "Ice Full" light should be off. If the water pump is audible, the cycle is proceeding.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK Check the water level sensor. If the float inside the water tank is stuck in the "low" position, the machine will not initiate ice making. Gently tap the side of the unit or slosh the water to free the float.
HEADS UP The first few batches may be small, thin, or cloudy. Discard them. Optimal ice production begins after 3-4 full cycles when the system is fully primed and cold.
