DIAGNOSIS This is almost always a full bucket. The unit has a safety switch that trips when the internal reservoir is at capacity, even if the bucket itself isn't physically full.
FIX
- Remove the water bucket from the front of the unit.
- Check for any water sloshing around inside the dehumidifier's internal reservoir area where the bucket sits.
- Dry the entire bucket area and the bucket itself completely with a towel.
- Reinsert the bucket firmly until it clicks. The beeping should stop.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The bucket might not be seated correctly. Ensure it's pushed all the way in and that the float switch (the little plastic tab inside the bucket slot) can move freely up and down.
HEADS UP If you're using a drain hose, the bucket still needs to be seated properly for the unit to operate, even if it's empty.
