DIAGNOSIS The float switch is stuck in the "up" position or the bucket isn't triggering it to reset.
FIX
- Remove the bucket again.
- Look inside the bucket slot for a small white or black plastic float. Manually push it up and down several times to ensure it moves freely.
- Check the corresponding slot on the bucket itself for any obstructions or damage.
- Reinsert the bucket with firm pressure until you hear a distinct click.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK Water or debris may have gotten into the float switch housing, jamming it. You may need to open the cabinet to access and clean or replace the switch.
HEADS UP Always dry the bottom of the bucket and the interior floor of the unit before reinserting. Even a few drops of water can re-trigger the sensor.
