my keurig classic k-cup brewer won't turn on at all, what do i do?

— asked by Josh

The brewer has no power. Check the electrical supply and the brewer's power state.

Fix:

  1. Plug the brewer into its own grounded outlet. If the circuit is overloaded with other appliances, it may not function properly.
  2. Check that the plug is secure in the outlet.
  3. Press the Power Button on the right-front of the brewer. It should be illuminated.

If that didn't work:

  • Plug it into a different, independent outlet.
  • Reset the circuit breaker for that outlet.
  • If the brewer is cold or has been in a freezing environment, let it warm to room temperature for at least two hours before trying to power it on.

Heads up: This brewer must use a properly grounded 3-prong outlet. Do not cut or remove the ground prong. If you only have a 2-prong outlet, you need to have it replaced by a qualified electrician.
