my kitchenaid k400 blender won't turn on at all, anyone else have this?

The jar isn't seated correctly or the unit isn't plugged in.

1. Make sure the blender jar handle is facing the control dial. Align the jar with the slot in the jar pad.
2. Plug the blender directly into a grounded 3-prong outlet. Do not use an extension cord.
3. Turn the control dial from (O) to any speed or preset program.
4. Press the start button.

If that didn't work: The unit may have entered an automatic stop. For variable speeds 1-5, it stops after 3 minutes. For preset programs, it stops when the cycle ends. Turn the dial to (O), wait 10 seconds, then try again.

Heads up: Always support the blender base when moving it. Carrying it by the jar can disengage the base.
