my ninja foodi pressure cooker lid won't lock shut, it's just spinning. anyone else have this?

— asked by Chloe

The lid is not fully seated or the silicone ring is out of position. Check two things. First, ensure the silicone ring is fully inserted and lies flat under the silicone ring rack on the underside of the lid. You should be able to tug it lightly and rotate it. Second, check that the anti-clog cap is correctly installed on the pressure release valve. Squeeze and pull it upward to remove, clean it, then press it back down into place. A deformed or damaged silicone ring will also prevent a seal. Replace it if cracked.
