Use nonabrasive detergents for cleaning. For the exterior shine, occasionally use a thin metal polish.
For thorough cleaning after each use: Remove the sealing ring from the lid to clean the inner rim. The vent pipe, cover lock, and over-pressure plug are all removable for cleaning.
