my razor e300 scooter won't turn on at all, no lights or anything, even after charging.

Quick answer: Total power failure. The most likely culprit is a blown fuse protecting the main electrical system.

Diagnosis

Total power failure. The most likely culprit is a blown fuse protecting the main electrical system.

How to Fix It

Replace the blown 40-amp automotive-style fuse.

  1. Locate the fuse holder on the deck, near the rear wheel.
  2. Use a Phillips screwdriver to open the plastic cover.
  3. Pull the old fuse straight out and check if the metal strip inside is broken.
  4. Insert a new 40-amp blade fuse, ensuring it's seated firmly.
  5. Close the cover and try the scooter.

If That Didn't Work

The battery pack's internal connector may have shaken loose. Remove the deck (four screws) and check the thick red and black wires plugged into the battery. Push them firmly into their sockets.

Heads Up

Never replace the 40-amp fuse with a higher-amp fuse. It's a safety device; using a bigger one can cause wiring damage or a fire.
