DIAGNOSIS Complete loss of power. The primary suspects are the electrical outlet, the power cord connection, or the main control board.
FIX 1. Check that the unit is firmly plugged into a working 120V outlet. 2. Test the outlet with another device. 3. Check your home's circuit breaker or GFCI outlet that the washer is connected to; reset if tripped. 4. Ensure the power cord is fully seated into the terminal block at the rear of the machine.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The main control board may have failed due to a power surge. This requires a technician to diagnose and replace the board (part # DC92-01415A).
HEADS UP Do not use an extension cord. The washer requires a dedicated outlet to handle its power draw.
