the washer is leaking a small pool of water from the bottom front, not every time but randomly.

DIAGNOSIS Intermittent leaks are often from loose hose connections, a damaged door boot, or a clogged overflow tube.

FIX 1. Pull the machine out and inspect all hose connections at the back (inlet and drain) for tightness. 2. Check the rubber door gasket (boot) for tears, especially at the bottom. 3. Inspect the detergent dispenser area. Overfilling can cause overflow that runs down the front. 4. Check the drain hose where it connects to the standpipe; it should not be inserted more than 6 inches.

IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The internal water inlet valve may be leaking slowly or not shutting off completely, dripping into the tub and out the boot seal. This requires valve replacement.

HEADS UP Use only powdered or liquid HE detergent. Pods (pacs) should be placed directly in the tub, not the dispenser, as they can get stuck and not dissolve fully, blocking water flow.
