Quick answer: The dock is not detecting the vacuum correctly, or a safety interlock is active because a tank is missing or full.

Diagnosis

The dock is not detecting the vacuum correctly, or a safety interlock is active because a tank is missing or full.

How to Fix It

Verify all dock conditions are met. Step sequence: 1. Confirm both clean water and dirty water tanks are correctly inserted in the dock. 2. Ensure the dirty water tank is not full. Empty it. 3. Check that the vacuum's charging contacts on the back are clean and making contact with the dock pins. 4. Dock the vacuum, ensuring it is pushed fully back until the charging light illuminates.

If That Didn't Work

The vacuum's internal sensor may think the brush roll is removed. Remove and reinstall the roller cover and brush roll, ensuring both ends are fully seated.

Heads Up

The self-cleaning function is disabled if the clean water tank is empty or the dirty water tank is full. The system will only charge.
