DIAGNOSIS: The drip stop is open.
FIX: Close the drip stop. Refer to the diagram on the brewer or manual page 17. It's the lever on the front, below the brew basket.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK: If the leak is coming from above the brew basket, the basket is overflowing. This is caused by:
- A clogged filter basket from finely ground coffee or too many grounds. Use a medium grind.
- Using both a permanent filter and a paper filter simultaneously. Use one or the other.
- Decaf coffee grounds absorbing water differently. Use fewer scoops for decaf.
HEADS UP: If leaking is from the bottom of the brewer itself, stop use and call Customer Service at 1-877-646-5288.
