ninja dualbrew pro keeps splattering coffee everywhere, how do i stop it?

Some splatter is normal, but you can minimize it. The main fix is reducing the distance the coffee has to fall.

FIX:

  1. Always use the single-serve cup platform when brewing into a mug or travel mug. This lifts your cup closer to the coffee outlet.
  2. If you're using the carafe, make sure the brew-through lid is properly seated on the carafe.
  3. If you're brewing pods, double-check that the Ninja Pod Adapter is correctly installed over the brew basket. The handle must be closed.

IF THAT DIDN'T WORK: If splatter is excessive, it could be due to a clog. Check the brew basket for overflow, which can happen with too many grounds or a very fine grind. Clean the brew basket and permanent filter thoroughly, and consider using a slightly coarser grind of coffee.

HEADS UP: Using both a paper filter and the permanent filter together can cause grounds to clog and water to back up, leading to overflow and more splatter. Use one or the other, not both.
