orange light came on while blending, does that mean it's broken?

Diagnosis

The orange light is not an error or broken indicator. For the Turelar Immersion Blender, the light ring on the handle is a battery charge indicator. An orange light specifically signals that the battery charge level has dropped below 50% but is still above 20%. This is a normal status alert, not a malfunction.

How to Fix It

1. Finish your current blending task. The unit is still fully operational.
2. Once done, unplug the blender from the power outlet.
3. Connect the provided charging cable to the blender's charging port and plug it into a wall outlet.
4. Allow the blender to charge fully. The light ring will typically turn a solid white or green (depending on the model) when charging is complete. Referencing the orange light as a prompt to recharge soon helps maintain battery health and ensures it's ready for your next use.

If That Didn't Work

If the orange light appears immediately upon turning the blender on, even after a full charge, the battery may be aging. Try a full recharge cycle. If performance is weak or the light quickly turns red, the battery may need replacement. Also, ensure you are not using an incorrect or faulty charger, as insufficient power can cause incorrect charge readings.

Heads Up

Never immerse the motor body in water. Only the detachable shaft is washable. To preserve battery lifespan, avoid letting the charge drop into the red (below 20%) regularly and store the blender in a cool, dry place.
