DIAGNOSIS A complete lack of power indicates a failure in the primary electrical supply chain. This is most often an external power issue, not an internal component failure.
FIX Follow the power checklist. 1. Confirm the power cord is firmly plugged into a live 110-120V outlet. Test the outlet with another device. 2. Check the unit's power switch on the back panel is in the ‘ON’ (I) position. 3. Inspect the power cord for any visible damage, cuts, or kinks, especially near the plug and where it enters the unit.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The internal thermal fuse or control board may have failed due to a power surge. This requires a multimeter continuity test on the fuse or professional service.
HEADS UP Do not attempt to bypass the power switch or repair a damaged cord yourself. The unit contains a sealed refrigerant system and high-voltage components.
