This is almost certainly the thermal sensor activating due to overheating or the Total Stop System (TSS) functioning normally.
- If it shuts off and won't restart: The thermal sensor has tripped. Unplug the washer and let it cool down for at least 5 minutes. It will restart automatically after cooling.
- If it shuts off but restarts when you squeeze the trigger: That's the Total Stop System. It's normal. The motor shuts off during inactivity or as soon as the unit is pressurized. Just squeeze the trigger to restart the pump motor.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK: Check for other causes. A blown fuse on your house circuit or incorrect mains voltage can cause stopping. Ensure your outlet voltage matches the spec on the machine's model tag. Also, a partially blocked nozzle can cause the motor to overwork and trigger the thermal sensor. Clean the nozzle.
HEADS UP: Always connect the hose and turn on the water supply BEFORE operating the unit. Running it dry damages the pump motor and voids the warranty.
