the basket won’t slide into my turbo fry chefman, it feels like it’s hitting something

DIAGNOSIS The most likely culprit is the basket handle or its attachment points being misaligned or slightly bent, preventing it from clearing the inner guides of the air fryer chamber.

FIX First, take the basket out and inspect it separately from the unit. 1) Look at the metal bracket where the basket attaches to the handle. Make sure it’s seated flat and hasn’t popped out of its slot. 2) Check the handle itself for any obvious warping. 3) Now, without the basket, look inside the air fryer. Ensure the two side rails are clear of any stuck-on food or debris. 4) When reinserting, don’t force it. Gently guide the basket in, wiggling it slightly side-to-side. It should slide in smoothly when aligned correctly.

IF THAT DIDN'T WORK If it still catches, the issue might be with the drip tray (the black tray at the very bottom). Make sure it’s pushed all the way back and is sitting completely flat. A tilted or forward-leaning drip tray can block the basket’s path.

HEADS UP Never force the basket in or out. If it’s meeting resistance, something’s misaligned. Forcing it can permanently bend the rails or the basket frame.
