DIAGNOSIS The float switch in the bucket reservoir is stuck in the "up" position or is misaligned.
FIX Remove the bucket. Inspect the small white float at the back of the bucket compartment. Manually move it up and down several times. Ensure it moves freely and is not obstructed by debris. Reinsert the bucket, ensuring it is pushed fully back until it clicks.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK Check for a misaligned float switch sensor on the unit itself (inside the empty bucket compartment). Gently press on the small plastic lever or pin to ensure it springs back. A failed switch requires replacement.
HEADS UP This can also be caused by placing the unit on an uneven floor. The bucket must sit level for the float to operate correctly. Use a small level to check.
