Diagnosis
Incorrect color profile or dynamic contrast settings are active. The default 'Standard' picture mode often produces washed-out colors.
How to Fix It
Press the menu button. Navigate to the 'Picture' menu. First, set 'Picture Mode' to 'User'. Then, manually adjust these settings: 'Brightness' to 50, 'Contrast' to 50, 'Color Temp' to 'User', and set R/G/B values to 50/50/50 as a baseline. Disable 'DCR' (Dynamic Contrast Ratio).
If That Didn't Work
The issue may be at the source. On your Windows PC, open 'Color Management' in the Control Panel. Ensure the monitor is selected and 'Use my settings for this device' is checked. Try loading the sRGB IEC61966-2.1 profile if available.
Heads Up
The VA panel in this monitor has narrow optimal viewing angles. Color and contrast shift significantly if you are not seated directly in front of the center of the screen.
