Diagnosis
The monitor is in a standby state but the backlight or panel is not receiving power. This indicates an internal power supply or inverter board failure.
How to Fix It
Perform a hard reset. Unplug the monitor's power cable from both the wall and the monitor. Press and hold the physical power button on the monitor for 30 seconds. Reconnect the power cable firmly at the monitor. Press the power button to turn it on. Listen for a faint 'click' from the internal power supply.
If That Didn't Work
Test with a different, known-good power cable and outlet. If the issue persists, the internal DC power board has likely failed. This requires component-level repair or replacement of the monitor.
Heads Up
Do not repeatedly attempt to power cycle the monitor if it shows no signs of life after a hard reset. This can stress failing components further. This model does not have a user-replaceable fuse. Contact Sceptre support for warranty service.
