Diagnosis
The suction pathway is blocked, or the tank isn't sealed properly. A clog prevents the vacuum from pulling water in.
How to Fix It
Focus on the suction inlet. 1) Empty and remove the dirty water tank. 2) Look at the rectangular rubber flap (the duckbill valve) inside the mop where the tank connects. 3) Check for debris like hair or grit stuck under it. 4) Also, inspect the hole in the mop base that leads to that valve—clear any blockages with a pipe cleaner.
If That Didn't Work
Ensure the dirty water tank is clicked firmly into place. If the red latch isn't fully engaged, it won't create an air-tight seal for suction.
Heads Up
Don't overfill the clean water tank. If you're putting in more than the marked max line, you're adding more liquid than the recovery system can handle, guaranteeing a wet floor.
