DIAGNOSIS The 'Ice Ready' alert is going off too early, or you're not waiting for the cubes to fully freeze before harvesting.
FIX Ignore the 'Ice Ready' light/buzzer for an extra 5-10 minutes. Let the cycle complete fully. The cubes need that extra time to harden and dry before they drop. Manually stop opening the basket to check.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The ambient humidity might be too high. In very humid environments, ice will naturally sweat and stick together. Store the ice basket in your freezer if you need dry, separate cubes.
HEADS UP Wet, clumped ice is normal for portable ice makers—they don't have a drying cycle like a freezer does. For dry ice, transfer it to a freezer bag and store in your actual freezer.
