FIX Unplug the machine and let it cool completely for at least 60 minutes. This is a critical cooldown period. After one hour, plug it directly into a wall outlet—not a power strip. Press the button once. If it heats normally, the issue was an overheat safety lockout.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK If the red blink recurs, scale buildup is insulating the thermoblock. You must run a descaling cycle. If the machine will not enter descaling mode due to the error, contact support. The thermoblock or its temperature sensor is likely defective.
HEADS UP This error is frequently triggered by brewing multiple cycles in rapid succession. Observe a 30-second pause between brews to allow the thermoblock to stabilize.
