How to Fix It
To resolve the leak and restore the seal, follow these precise steps to clean and reset the internal gasket:

- Lift the carafe off the base and turn it upside down over a sink.

If That Didn't Work

If milk has leaked onto these pins and dried, it can cause the motor to stutter or overheat, which occasionally puts uneven pressure on the carafe seal. Clean these pins with a dry microfiber cloth and a small amount of isopropyl alcohol.
- Check for Housing Cracks: Examine the clear plastic of the carafe for hairline fractures, particularly around the bottom edge. If the plastic itself has cracked due to a drop or thermal shock, the carafe cannot be sealed and must be replaced entirely.
