Remote issues are usually about range, pairing, or the main power switch.
- Confirm RoboVac is ON. The main power switch is on the bottom. Flip it on.
- Check the battery charge. A fully depleted RoboVac won't respond. Manually dock it and charge for 5 hours.
- Respect the range. The remote only works within 16 feet (5 meters) of the RoboVac.
- Reboot. Turn the RoboVac's main power switch off, wait 2 seconds, turn it back on.
If that didn't work: The remote itself might be faulty. Try fresh AAA batteries again. If the RoboVac responds to its top button but not the remote, the remote is the issue.
Note: All cleaning modes except Manual are accessible via the remote. If it's dead, you can still start Auto mode by pressing the button on the RoboVac itself.
