How to Fix It

The most effective solution is to reduce the electrical load causing the resonance.

1. Press the monitor's menu button to open the OSD.
2. Navigate to Picture > Brightness and lower the setting. Start with a reduction of 10-20 points from your current level.
3. Next, go to Picture > Contrast and lower this setting by a similar amount.
4. Exit the menu. The whining should significantly diminish or stop entirely once the settings are applied.

If That Didn't Work

Some automated picture features can cause fluctuating loads that induce whine.

1. Access the OSD menu again and go to Picture > Advanced.
2. Locate Dynamic Contrast and set it to Off. This feature constantly adjusts the backlight.
3. In the same menu, find Brightness Stabilizer (aimed at HDR content) and disable it.
4. If the noise persists, try switching the Picture Mode to a preset like "sRGB" or "Standard," which often uses a fixed, lower brightness profile.
