You have improper battery connections, a problem with the battery, or the DC circuit is overloaded.
- Turn the Eco Throttle switch to the OFF position. It must be off for DC operation.
- Disconnect the battery charging cables.
- Reset the DC circuit protector by pushing the button to ON.
- Reconnect the cables to the correct battery terminals: red to positive (+), black to negative (-). Ensure connections are clean and tight.
If that didn't work, the battery itself may have an internal short or be severely discharged, causing a high initial draw. Try charging a known-good battery. The DC circuit protector does not prevent overcharging, so monitor battery voltage frequently.
Warning: The DC output is not regulated. Overcharging can damage the battery.
