Diagnosis
The woven fabric shell is a dust magnet. You can clean it, but never submerge it or use liquids directly on the device.
How to Fix It
- Unplug the device.
- Use a soft-bristled brush (a clean, dry makeup or paint brush works) or the brush attachment on a vacuum to gently remove loose dust.
- For spots, lightly dab with a cloth slightly dampened with water. Do not spray anything onto the speaker.
- Let it dry completely before plugging back in.
If That Didn't Work
For stubborn grime, use a very small amount of mild soap on the damp cloth, dab (don't rub), then wipe with a water-dampened cloth to remove soap residue.
Heads Up
Never use solvents, abrasive cleaners, or compressed air, as these can force dust into the speaker grill or damage the fabric. The shell is not designed to be removed by users.
