Absolutely. You can cook in just one zone. The unit defaults to Zone 1, but you can choose Zone 2 instead.

FIX:

1. Plug in the unit and press the POWER BUTTON.
2. The unit defaults to Zone 1. If you want to use Zone 2, press the ZONE 2 button.
3. Select your cooking function (like AIR FRY, BAKE, etc.).
4. Use the TEMP arrows to set the temperature.
5. Use the TIME arrows to set the time (up to 1 hour in 1-minute increments).
6. Press START/PAUSE to begin cooking.

IF THAT DIDN'T WORK: Make sure the basket is properly installed in the zone you selected. The unit should not be operated without the removable basket installed. Also, ensure the crisper plate is correctly placed inside the basket.
