How to Fix It

- Stop & Cool: Turn off the heat source immediately. Do not move or touch the hot canner. Allow it to cool completely and depressurize on its own.
- Do Not Reuse: Under no circumstances should you attempt to re-insert or re-use the ejected overpressure plug. It is a single-use safety component and is now invalid.
- Contact Denali: You must call the Denali Test Kitchen at 1-800-368-2194. This is the official support line. They will guide you through the next steps, which will involve returning the unit for a professional safety inspection and repair. Do not attempt to repair it yourself.
If That Didn't Work
If you cannot reach support by phone, visit the official Denali Canning website to locate alternative contact methods or authorized service centers. Do not search for generic replacement plugs online, as using a non-OEM part can be extremely dangerous. The unit must be evaluated by the manufacturer.
