my denali tanker canner is leaking steam around the lid, what's wrong?

Leakage between the cover and body is caused by a shrunken sealing ring. Replace the sealing ring and the overpressure plug.

If handles aren't aligned, the cover lock can't engage. Ensure cover handles are directly above the body handles.
