Diagnosis
Yeah, this one's common. E24 is a drain error. The dishwasher thinks there's water left in the sump after it tried to drain, or it can't activate the drain pump.
How to Fix It
Check for a clog. First, cancel the cycle. Then, pull out the lower rack and inspect the filter assembly in the bottom of the tub. Remove any large debris. Next, check the drain hose where it connects under the sink—make sure it's not kinked and the air gap or garbage disposal connection is clear.
If That Didn't Work
The drain pump itself might be jammed or failed. You can access it by removing the lower access panel. Listen for a hum when it tries to drain; if it's silent or just buzzes, the pump motor (part #00611925) is probably dead.
Heads Up
Never run a cycle with an E24 active. It can lead to flooding if the drain is truly blocked.
