Diagnosis
Water ingress around the deck seal or display is the main risk. The IP rating is for light splashes, not pressure washing.
How to Fix It
Use a damp (not wet) microfiber cloth with mild soapy water for the deck and stem. For the wheel wells and under-deck, use a soft brush to loosen dirt, then wipe. Never spray water directly at any seam, button, or port.
If That Didn't Work
For stubborn grime on the rubber deck mat, remove it by peeling it up (it's adhesive-backed), clean it separately, and let it dry completely before re-applying.
Heads Up
Never tip the scooter on its side or upside down to clean the underside while the battery is installed—this can allow water to run into the deck seal from an unusual angle.
