Food residue on the heating element requires manual cleaning.
- Unplug the unit from the wall outlet and let it cool completely.
- Use the included cleaning brush to gently scrub the heating element and remove food residues.
- Wipe the main unit and control panel with a damp cloth. Do not immerse them in water.
If that didn't work: For stuck-on residue, no other cleaning method is approved. Do not use abrasive cleaners, steel wool, or scouring pads.
Heads up: The basket, crisper plate, and accessories are dishwasher safe. The main unit is never dishwasher safe.
