DIAGNOSIS Fingerprints, dust, or condensation are diffusing the infrared LEDs, causing blurry night vision.
FIX Use a microfiber cloth designed for eyeglasses or camera lenses. Gently wipe the clear plastic dome in a circular motion. Do not use any liquid cleaners, including water. For stubborn smudges, lightly breathe on the lens to fog it, then wipe with the dry microfiber cloth.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK Check for internal condensation. If the blurriness is inside the dome, it indicates a seal failure. This requires a warranty claim with Nanit Support.
HEADS UP The plastic dome is easily scratched. Never use paper towels, tissues, or shirt fabric. Abrasive cleaning will permanently degrade image quality.
