Change the oil after the first 20 hours of use, then every 100 hours thereafter. Change it more frequently under heavy load or in high ambient temperatures.
Use the maintenance hatch on the side panel to access the drain and fill. Always change the oil when the engine is hot to ensure complete drainage. The oil capacity is 0.6 quarts.
Also check: The air filter and spark plug. Inspect the air cleaner element every 50 hours, clean or replace as needed. Check the spark plug every 100 hours for deposits and proper gap.
If you see this: Drain and replace the oil immediately if it becomes contaminated with water or dirt. Milky oil indicates water contamination.
Heads up: Use the recommended oil type. Using the wrong oil can void your 2-year warranty.
