Diagnosis
UE is an "unbalanced load" error. The washer's sensors detect the tub is wobbling excessively during the spin. With this model, it's often not about overloading, but about how a single heavy item (like a bath mat or small blanket) can ball up on one side.
How to Fix It
Pause or cancel the cycle when you see UE. Redistribute the load evenly around the center agitator. For bulky items, try washing only one or two at a time with a few smaller items to help balance. Make sure the washer is level—use a bubble level on the top and adjust the feet underneath. An unlevel washer is a huge contributor to UE errors.
If That Didn't Work
The shock absorbers that dampen the tub's movement might be worn out, but that's rare unless the machine is very old. More likely, check that all four shipping bolts and the styrofoam packing were removed during installation. If a bolt is still in, it will cause massive imbalance.
Heads Up
Repeatedly ignoring the UE error and letting it try to spin can damage the suspension and lead to a much louder, more expensive problem (like the tub hitting the cabinet). Always stop and fix the balance.
