DIAGNOSIS No power is reaching the main board. The most common point of failure is the detachable power cord connection at the back of the unit.
FIX Check the DC power cord connection.
- Unplug the cord from the wall.
- Firmly disconnect the round DC connector from the back of the Silonn unit, then firmly reconnect it. You should feel/hear a click.
- Plug the cord back into the wall outlet. You should immediately hear a faint hum and see the control panel light up.
- Press the Power button.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The low-voltage power adapter (the brick on the cord) may have failed. Test by using a compatible 12V DC power adapter with the same connector polarity (center-positive). If the unit powers on with a different adapter, you need a replacement Silonn cord.
HEADS UP This unit uses a 12V DC power supply, not standard 110V AC. Never try to wire it directly to a household outlet or use an incompatible power brick, as you will permanently destroy the control board.
