Diagnosis
Extended cycle times are usually due to the washer's automatic imbalance correction. It is adding extra rinses and slow spins to compensate for an off-balance load.
How to Fix It
Reduce load size. Mix large and small items. Ensure the washer is level. Use the front legs to adjust. Run a calibration cycle: select Drain & Spin, press Start, let it complete. This recalibrates the suspension system.
If That Didn't Work
The load sensor (pressure switch) may be faulty, causing the washer to over-fill or under-fill, which disrupts the balance algorithm. Check the air hose from the tub to the pressure switch for leaks.
Heads Up
The EcoBoost and Soil Level settings add time. A Normal cycle with EcoBoost on and Soil Level set to Heavy can exceed 90 minutes by design.
