Diagnosis
Wobbly shelves are almost always an assembly error. The most common mistake is not fully engaging the shelf support brackets into the pre-drilled holes on the firebox, or not tightening the fasteners securely.
How to Fix It
Review the assembly diagram for the shelves. Each shelf has two L-shaped support brackets. Ensure the vertical leg of each bracket is inserted completely into the designated holes on the side of the grill's firebox. You should hear or feel a click. From underneath the shelf, locate the two pre-installed bolts per bracket. Using the provided wrench, tighten these bolts firmly. Do not overtighten, but ensure there is no play.
If That Didn't Work
Check that the cart frame itself is square and all frame bolts are tight. A wobbly cart frame will translate movement to the shelves. Tighten all bolts connecting the legs, crossbars, and wheel assemblies.
Heads Up
The shelves are designed to hold condiments and tools, not heavy weight. Do not place more than 25 lbs on a single shelf. An improperly secured shelf can collapse.
