Diagnosis
The fine-pierced screen on the magnetic milk frother is clogged with dried milk protein, or air intake is blocked.
How to Fix It
Deep clean the milk frother immediately.
1. Detach the frother from its tube.
2. Soak the entire frother head (the magnetic part) in warm water with a milk system cleaner (like Jura's) or dish soap for 20 minutes.
3. Use the small cleaning brush to scrub the fine holes on the circular screen.
4. Rinse thoroughly and run the 'Clean Milk System' program from the menu.
If That Didn't Work
The one-way valve inside the milk tube connector might be stuck. Detach the tube from the machine and suck/blow through it gently to check for blockage. Replace the tube if damaged.
Heads Up
You must run the 'Clean Milk System' program every single day after use. If you skip it, milk residue hardens inside the internal pipes within hours, leading to permanent clogs and costly repairs.
