Diagnosis
The machine's internal counter has triggered a mandatory maintenance cycle (not just the daily rinse). It's likely the 'Clean Machine' prompt for the deeper cleaning cycle that uses a specific tablet.
How to Fix It
You must run the full cleaning cycle with a Jura cleaning tablet.
1. Ensure the machine is on and the water tank is full.
2. Place a cleaning tablet (or the recommended powder) in the pre-ground coffee chute.
3. Turn the main selector dial to select the 'Clean Machine' message and press the dial to confirm.
4. Follow the on-screen prompts. It will run a long cycle, dispensing cleaning solution and then rinsing.
If That Didn't Work
If the cycle won't start or errors out, the flow meter might be clogged. Descale the machine first using Jura's proprietary descaler, then try the cleaning cycle again.
Heads Up
Never use vinegar or off-brand descaler. Jura's systems are calibrated for their specific, non-foaming solutions. Using the wrong product can damage internal seals and void your warranty.
