Diagnosis
The IR command set for your specific AC model is incomplete or the AC is in a mode that locks fan control.
How to Fix It
First, check the current operating mode. Many AC units lock fan speed to 'Auto' when in 'Dry' or 'Energy Saver' mode. Use the Breez Plus or app to switch the mode to 'Cool' or 'Fan'. Then attempt to change the fan speed. Second, verify the IR code set. In the Cielo Home app, go to Settings > AC Settings. Your AC's model number is listed. If it says 'Generic' or a similar model, the code library may lack granular control.
If That Didn't Work
Manually re-teach the fan speed commands. In the app, go to Settings > AC Settings > Change AC. Select 'Custom AC'. Follow the prompts to 'Learn' commands directly from your AC's original remote. Specifically teach the Power, Mode, Temperature Up/Down, and each distinct Fan Speed button.
Heads Up
Some AC brands, like certain Daikin or Mitsubishi models, use proprietary communication protocols instead of standard IR. The Breez Plus may only be able to control basic functions on these units. Check Cielo's official compatibility list for your exact model.
