DIAGNOSIS A complete, silent shutdown indicates a thermal overload or a faulty power connection. The internal safety thermostat is cutting power to prevent overheating.
FIX Check the power source first. Plug the unit directly into a wall outlet, not a power strip or extension cord. Ensure the outlet provides consistent power. Next, verify the unit has ample clearance on all sides, especially the back and top. A minimum of 5 inches is required for ventilation.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The internal thermostat or main control board may be failing. Note if the shutdown happens at a consistent time or temperature. This information is critical for support.
HEADS UP After a shutdown, the unit will remain inoperative until it cools down sufficiently, which can take 30-45 minutes. Do not attempt to restart it immediately.
