my cosori turboblaze just shows an e1 error code and beeps, what does that even mean?

— asked by Casey

DIAGNOSIS The E1 code indicates a temperature sensor failure. The fryer’s internal thermostat cannot read the air temperature correctly.

FIX Perform a hard reset. Unplug the appliance for 60 seconds. Plug it back in. Press and hold the Temperature Down (-) button for 30 seconds. This resets the main control board. If the E1 code clears, test with a short cook cycle.

IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The sensor probe inside the cooking chamber may be damaged or have a faulty connection. This requires disassembly. Contact Cosori customer support for a warranty replacement unit.

HEADS UP Do not attempt to use the air fryer with an active E1 code. It will not regulate temperature properly and is a potential fire hazard.
