DIAGNOSIS The coating is degrading. This is caused by using abrasive cleaners, metal utensils, or high-heat cooking with acidic ingredients over time.
FIX Stop using the basket immediately. Flakes can contaminate food. Contact Cosori customer support with your model number (CP158-AF) and proof of purchase. This is typically covered under warranty as a material defect. They will ship a replacement basket.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK If out of warranty, you must purchase an official replacement basket. Do not use third-party baskets. They may not fit the drawer correctly or withstand the same temperatures.
HEADS UP To preserve the coating, only use soft sponges, nylon brushes, and mild dish soap for cleaning. Never use steel wool, abrasive pads, or dishwasher pods with citric acid.
