the basket on my turboblaze 6qt is stuck and i can't get it out of the drawer, feels like it's welded in there.

DIAGNOSIS Food debris and grease have carbonized in the gap between the basket and the drawer frame, acting as an adhesive.

FIX Do not force it. Soak the entire basket-and-drawer assembly in warm, soapy water for 30-60 minutes. Then, use a soft-bristle brush (like a dish brush) to scrub the seam where the basket meets the drawer. Apply gentle twisting force while pulling up.

IF THAT DIDN'T WORK Heat can re-liquefy the grease. Place the stuck assembly back into the air fryer. Run it at 400°F for 3 minutes. Carefully remove (use oven mitts) and immediately attempt to separate the basket. The heated grease will be less viscous.

HEADS UP To prevent recurrence, always remove and hand-wash the basket separately from the drawer after each use. Never put the basket through a dishwasher cycle if it is seated in the drawer.
